His-Stories: In Memory Of Sensei Reynolds
|
|
Sadly, Sensei Ralph Reynolds died Friday 20th of January 2006. He was one of only four survivors from the original group with Kenshiro Abbe Sensei in the late 1950's. We were fortunate that Sensei Reynolds was able to take part in the Kenshiro Abbe Celebrations in May 2005.

His-Stories: Segal an Aikido Dojo in Japan ?
|
|
Steven Seagal is a 7th degree black belt in the martial art aikido, which loosely translates from the Japanese, "the art of divine harmony." Seagal's aikido talents are well displayed in his movies, particularly the early ones such as Above the Law and Marked for Death.
Was Segal the first westerner who ran an Aikido Dojo in Japan and did he study under O'Sensei. Ueshiba ??

Before you click Read More, please take the few minutes to read the following:
These pages are in Respect and Honor for Martial Arts and Artists World Wide, and, more so, specifically those of Bristish Aikido Lore.
EzNewsTv will, as you will soon see, add additional Great Names and His-Stories of Men and Women whom contributed their all to the Sacred and Honored Martial Arts Societies they were/are a part of; Martial Arts Societies built upon Histories and Legacies of so many before them!
EzNewsTv simply desires to build this site on a foundation of fact not fiction, offering a small reward to those featured in these pages.
Therefore, the pages within these pages, concerning the Fraud of Jack Poole, remain the touch of black deceit shrouding the honor and repect we wish to portray.
Yet, we, EzNewsTv, would not have grown to love and respect those featured in this site, had it not been for our report on Jack Poole!
Imagine, the Gishi [falsified history] of Poole Sensei has brought forth the Honor, Duty, Beauty and Lore of Bushido and Budo of and in those featured within these pages!
An Irony of the Subject Jack Poole....

His-Stories: Sensei John Stevens: O'Sensei's biographer
|
|
When Ellis Sensei was in the USA last year, there a female student training at the Ellis Alamogordo dojo. She happened to be a dan grade in aikido and a direct student of Sensei John Stevens who is O'Sensei's biographer, he has a dojo in Japan.
She is a captain in the AirForce at Holloman AFB. and visits Sensei Stevens often. On her next visit, she asked if it was ok to train at an Ellis School. He told her was very impressed with my background and history, and then asked her to deliver to me a copy of Invincible Warrior: A Pictorial Biography of Morihei Ueshiba. THE Founder OF AIKIDO.
Ellis Sensei spoke of the High Honor he felt was offered by Sensei John Stevens: O'Sensei's biographer
which I thought was a very nice gesture.

His-Stories: Abbe Sensei The Healer
|
|
"In the early 60's my parents and I were about to take our very first vacation abroad to
Spain. A few days before we were due to leave, my fathers back gave out and he had to sleep on a door laid on top of his bed. The doctor told him he could do nothing for him and he would have no choice but to cancel the
vacation.
The morning before the day of our vacation I was with Abbe sensei at his apartment in Acton London, he was getting ready go to London Airport to fly to France with Sensei Bill
Woods. I informed Abbe sensei of the problem with my father and he asked"Where your father live? "
I explained that he lived in the country the other side of Windsor in Berkshire, Abbe sensei
then said to Sensei Woods "You know this place?" Sensei Woods said he did, Abbe sensei then asked "
Have we time to see Harry's father and still catch flight to France?"
cSensei Woods said " It is possible."
From that moment there was a mad scramble and we were on our way to Bracknell and a very surprised Harry Ellis
senior! Abbe sensei preformed some Katsu on my father and in just a few minutes my father was walking
around.
Thanks to Abbe sensei we all went on vacation the next day and my father never had another problem with his
back.
Oh yes! Abbe Sensei also just made the flight to France."
